Coastal Trip - Sea Pleasure

Santa Maria de Colombo - Pirate Ship

Sailing along the South Coast of Madeira aboard the Santa Maria, Pirate Ship, will take you back to the 15th century. The Santa Maria ship is a real size replica of the Colombo’s ship.

The ship sails along the South Coast of Madeira where there is a strong possibility of seeing sea life. In summer it stops, for you to enjoy a cool swim.

The Beluga - Glass Bottom Boat

The beluga submarine sails to the only nature marine reserve area, Garajau. The Beluga is submarine with a semi submerged cabin of 8 windows.

It is Guaranteed to see Sea-Life on every maderia boat trip. It makes a stop for you to swim and to go snorkelling (masks and tubes available on board). After visiting Garajau it sails to deep water in search of dolphins, whales and turtles.

Atlantic Festival Fireworks

Due to its unique morphological structure, the natural amphitheatre of Funchal Bay is an excellent venue for viewing one of the world’s best fireworks displays from the sea.

The Atlantic Festival in June includes piromusical shows that are held on Saturdays in the Funchal Bay. Three companies specializing in fireworks displays, from different countries, compete for a trophy awarded by public vote. Year by year this innovative event has become increasingly popular.

Before the Boat trip there is a short introduction, then the adventure in Atlantic ocean begins. A marine biologist will accompany you on the journey.

Trips to see the Dolphins are made in fast boats; semi rigid type boats witha capacity for 12 persons and onboard a modern, engine catamaran with a capacity for 50 people.

A one day Boat trip to the Desertas Island, where you will have a chance to Admire marine birds and sea life. The journey to the desertas island will take around 2h45 hours to get there.

Once arriving at Desertas Island the “Catamaran” will anchor. There you will have the opportunity to swim in the clear, cool water with snorkel equipment on board..

45 min guided tour of the Desert Island. followed by a traditional Lunch with drinks will de served on board.

Rota das Fajãs - Coastal Tour

Leaving Funchal Marina at 09h00 ,we travels all along the south-west coast up to Ponta do Pargo. During this cruise, we can observe the coast with its magnificent views of the different landscape and villages.

The First thing you will notice as you cruise along southwest coast, are the complex patchwork of terraces covering the island hillsides, these giant steps testify to industriousness of the local farmers, who have spent millions of working hours converting the island steep and unpromising slopes into arable plots of land. The caves caused by sea erosion, and terraces were formed along the coastline.

The guide will give you some brief explanation and be available for questions. So that you can understand a bit more about the southwest coast and its secrets,

Before we head home we will make an elongated stop where you can observe the seabed by snorkeling, try out stand up paddle and even paddle in a kayak. Lunch is then served on board as a buffet including meat and fish and drinks, after lunch we continue our homeward journey with at least one more stop along the south coast.

If you area nature lover this cruise is for you, we'll sail southeast ,from Funchal's beautiful harbour towards Machico bay and afterwards to Baía d'Abra, a marvellous wild bay and Natural Reserve, where we stop for you to swim and dive in the clear atlantic waters,or sit back and relax.

Desertas (deserted in English) is the name of all three small islands that lies about 15 miles south-east of Madeira, Desertas are a Natural Reserve, primarily to protect the rarest species of monk seal . but is also known as an important sea bird sanctuary.

After approaching Desertas, we will follow slowly along the coast, giving you a chance to take in this marvellous scenery of beautiful coloured rocks, dramatic sea cliffs and caves…

We will anchor at Doca, where you can swim, dive and relax in this small bay of cristalline waters.

After a Lunch you will be taken to land with a small boat for a guided tour.
