Excellent attention to our needs especially the phone call enquiring if we were all ok on our walk when we didn’t arrive at Boa Morte on time. Hi We spent a week in Mareira recently and had a driver and car for three days to tour the island. Our driver was LUIS. We would like to say that he was an excellent driver, friendly yet professional, and very informative on the island. Hi Rosa, I just wanted to say sincere thanks for arranging an absolutely brilliant day! Your driver, Lionel, was fantastic and a credit to your company!! He was very considerate of my parents and when he realised the program I'd devised was not quite suitable for my father's mobility he suggested a wonderful alternative. I also added another request on-day of a visit to a Madeira wine cellar to purchase some wine and we had a fantastic visit to a family cellar. I tried to get through to a friend of mine who was due in Madeira yesterday to recommend you to her but our ship to ship communication failed. That said you can be sure I will definitely recommend Madeira Island Tours to everyone I come in to contact with and I hope to come back to Madeira for a longer stay and will definitely use your services again and hope Lionel will be available. I have to say he reminds me very much of my partner, who is a London black cab driver. He is also considerate of his passengers and is equally polite and well presented. My wife and I have recently returned from a lovely holiday in Madeira and we would like to say how very pleased we were with the service you provided. your driver was waiting for us at the airport as arranged and the driver was very punctual when taking us back to the airport. As part of the holiday we booked 3 Island tours, our driver and guide being G Teixeira, was superb throughout the three days, always very polite and couteous, very informative and fun to be with. we cannot praise him high enough for making our holiday so enjoyable. Dear Sir, Having experienced 3 of your tours over the last week, we feel we should let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed all 3 excursions and more so because of our driver and guide, Gianni. He took us out on all 3 visits. He was very informative, helpful, cheerful, and patient. His driving was considerate and careful, instilling a sense of security on even the narrowest and highest mountain roads. We do not normally contact companies to report our opinions in such detail but on this occasion we felt we should do so to let you know how much we appreciated his efforts. We have just returned from a holiday in Madeira staying at the VIdamar Hotel. 3 trips round the island were included in the holiday all of which were handled by your office and each day we were driven by Cassiano. We just wanted to say how pleased we were with the service provided by him and wanted to give you that positive feedback

We have had the most marvellous time on our two trips and the drivers for both of them have been wonderful, friendly and courteous at all times. I must recommend them highly, they were so informative about the island and is has been an absolute delight to have been shown around Madeira by two such knowledgeable young men. We will still require our transfer back to Funchal airport on the 6th May obviously.

Dear Madeira Island Tours My wife and I have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Vidamar Hotel on a package that included 3 day tours with your company. We had a fantastic time seeing many parts of the island we hadn’t accessed on our last visit 15 years ago and we felt we had seen a very different Madeira than the one we had seen previously . The three trips were made very special by Lionel (Silva?) who became a friend and accommodated all our requests, particularly our need for a relaxed tour (we are in our late 70’s!). Lionel took great care of us, finding us great coffee and lunch spots and always made sure we knew what to see and where to pick him up. He even introduced us to a couple of short levada walks at our request. So we felt very fortunate to have had Lionel as our guide. He is a great ambassador for Madeira and we will be back for some more tours.

We have never booked a private transfer before, we usually just get the local bus and then find our own way to the hotel, but because it was our first time in Madeira and we were arriving late afternoon we thought it would be easier to book a private transfer. The price seemed very reasonable. You just email them with your flight times and they do all the rest. On arval att tthe airport the driver was waiting for us, she was very chatty and helpful giving us information about the island. We were glad that we didn't rely on the local bus service as our hotel was halfway up a mountain and we would have struggled with our cases. It only took about 15 minutes to get from the airport to our hotel. On our return journey to the airport, again the driver was very punctual and he dropped us right outside the terminal, right in front of the easy jet check in desk. We wouddefiiniitely recommend this srvvie..
